Voyage Intérieur :Fragments, 2026
There are moments in life when moving forward first requires becoming still.
This project was born during one of those moments. My mind was overflowing with ideas, expectations and possibilities, yet I found myself unable to create. Before taking another step, I needed to quiet the noise, make space within myself, and return to what truly mattered.
As I reflected, I began searching through analogue photographs I had made over the years, looking for images that resonated with what I was experiencing.
From this quiet process emerged a body of work exploring the journey taking place within. By bringing together photographs, handwritten words and physical intervention, I gave shape to an inner journey that was still unfolding, a journey of embracing uncertainty, letting go of expectations and moving forward.
What interests me most is not the photograph itself, but the inner landscape it reveals.

Philippe GirardOn Perception
My work begins with the quiet moments that shape me.
What interests me most is not the photograph itself, but the inner landscape it reveals and the way the same moment can hold a different meaning for every person.
Through photography, I collect memory, emotion and the inner landscapes we carry throughout life. The experiences I gather over time gradually evolve into personal bodies of work, reflecting on life’s transitions, the passage of time and the many ways a single moment can be experienced.
Photography is my medium, and creating is my language. Each project becomes a way of giving form to thoughts and emotions that often exist beyond words.
My work invites contemplation rather than offering answers, leaving space for every viewer to bring their own memories, emotions and interpretations.
